This is my personal little tribute to the Tenth Doctor.

I suppose, we all have our favourites, some prefer nine to Ten. Perhaps younger viewers are only familiar with Eleven. And for some, the only true Doctor Who stories are those represented by the classics. But it doesn't matter if you are a Nuvian, or a whovian. All I know is, you never forget 'Your Doctor.'

Tbf, I'm old enough to have watched Doctor Who since the early 80s - Much like David Tennant, Tom Baker/Peter Davidson were my original Doctors. And though I remember watching every episode, I am also honest enough to admit, that I have never revisited any of the classics since. But that's changed now I have "MY" Doctor - Because, let's face it, even Ten has become yesterday's Doctor for some, now that Matt has embraced yet another series.

Those who know me will know I am the first to admit, I struggled with Eleven. I am not ashamed to admit I am a fangirl first, Whovian second, and easily mourned Ten.

However, feeling in a period of acceptance, I have recently started to watch Eleven. (Although more for Pond than The Doctor But, I confess, I am looking forward to seeing new assistant Jenna Louise Coleman step into Pond's shoes.


So back to the piece in question - For those unfamiliar with the title "Vale Decem" -(Which is unlikely because you are all a clever, clued up lot!) this was the song which was scored for the Tenth Doctor's final moments in The End of Time - part two, written by Murray Gold - The man we have to blame for often reducing us all to mush with his emotive and beautiful scores!

However, when I started to think of what I might do for this piece, it became evident that there doesn't seem to be one 'definitive' English translation that all agree on. Perhaps you know different...
